The Forest
You open a door,
You walk in,
See a wardrobe,
Open it,
A wind picks up,
You go with it,
You laugh as you see that you eneded up,
In another realm,
You smile when you see a forest,
You run to it,
You walk into the trees,
The branches cradle you in their arms,
The trees whisper,
In the breeze,
Leaning on their neighbor,
Sharing secrets,
Unknown to those,
Who do not speak their language,
You walk along,
The forgotten path,
The birds singing their lullaby to you,
You see a meadow,
The sun above,
You sit down and fall asleep,
When you wake,
It is the crickets you hear,
The night is chilly and cold,
The forest
